Electric boilers, powered by renewables.

The cleanest industrial steam we've ever delivered. Electrode and resistance boilers fed by dedicated solar and wind PPAs — no combustion on your site, no stack, no fuel trucks, no ash. Roughly 99% of every kilowatt becomes heat, and ClearOS™ shifts your load into the cheapest renewable hours automatically. Like everything we build: we own and operate it, you pay per ton of steam.

Why electrify steam

Combustion-free heat changes
what's possible on your site.

Truly zero at the fence line

No burner, no flue, no stack clearance, no ambient air-quality contribution. For sites in urban zones, non-attainment areas or near residential boundaries, electric is often the only compliant route to new steam capacity.

Instant, precise response

Electrode boilers ramp 0–100% in seconds with razor-sharp pressure control — no thermal lag, no turndown floor. Ideal for batch processes, sterilisation cycles and loads that swing hard.

No fuel logistics. Ever.

No tankers, no fuel yard, no storage compliance, no ash handling, no moisture-content disputes. Your fuel arrives on a wire — metered, contracted and renewable.

Pharma-grade clean steam

With no products of combustion anywhere in the plant room, electric units pair naturally with pure-steam generators for cGMP sterilisation, autoclaving and CIP — with full audit trails from ClearOS.

A fraction of the footprint

No fuel storage, no air pre-heaters, no flue-gas path. A 10 TPH electrode unit fits where a biomass plant's fuel shed would go — and it runs near-silent.

ESG numbers your auditors accept

PPA contracts, time-stamped generation data and REC retirement documented automatically — Scope 1 goes to zero for that load, and Scope 2 is covered by traceable renewable supply.

The hardware

Two electric architectures.
Sized to your duty.

Like our biomass and gas fleets, electric units are deployed under the same thermal-SaaS contract: we finance, install, own and operate; you pay per ton.

EH series · Electrode

High-voltage electrode boilers

Current passes directly through treated boiler water between electrodes — the water itself is the heating element. MW-scale steam in a compact vessel with near-instant ramp, inherent dry-run safety and minimal maintenance (no heating elements to replace).

Immersion resistance boilers

Industrial-grade immersion elements in a pressure vessel — the simple, rugged workhorse for smaller duties and LT connections. Stepped element banks give fine turndown; modular skids parallel up as your demand grows.

Both architectures ship with thermal storage options (steam accumulators / hot-water buffers) so ClearOS can charge heat during cheap renewable hours and discharge through grid peaks.

The "powered by renewables" part

An electric boiler is only as clean
as the electrons behind it. We contract them.

Grid power alone wouldn't make this clean — so every electric-boiler tariff comes bundled with a renewable supply structure that we arrange, contract and operate.

SOURCE 01

Open-access solar & wind PPAs

Long-term power purchase agreements with utility-scale solar and wind parks, wheeled to your site through open access — typically the cheapest renewable electron available.

SOURCE 02

On-site solar + storage

Rooftop or ground-mount solar behind your meter where space allows, with battery and thermal storage to stretch solar hours into the evening shift.

SOURCE 03

Green tariffs & RECs

Utility green tariffs and renewable energy certificates close any residual gap — fully documented, time-stamped and retired against your load by ClearOS.

OPTIMISER

ClearOS renewable-hour dispatch

Our platform forecasts generation and prices, charges thermal storage when renewables are abundant, and modulates load through peaks — cutting your effective ₹/kWh and your carbon intensity at once.

Daylight · solar hours

Solar PPAs carry the boiler at the day's lowest ₹/kWh. Anything your process doesn't need is banked — steam accumulators and hot-water buffers charge up for later.

Evening · the peak

When grid prices spike, stored heat discharges first and wind PPAs pick up the balance — your steam keeps flowing while your exposure to peak tariffs drops away.

Night · wind & backstop

Wind generates strongest overnight; a green-tariff grid connection backstops the rest, with RECs retired against every unit. Steam availability stays contractual — 98–99.5% SLA, whatever the weather.

Choosing a route

Electric vs biomass vs gas — honestly.

Electric isn't always the answer; nor is biomass. This is the trade-off space we model for every site — and hybrids frequently win.

Criterion⚡ Electric + renewables🌿 Biomass🔥 Gas (H₂-ready)
On-site emissionsZero — no stack at allLow; controlled via ESP/baghouseLow NOx; CO₂ until H₂ switch
Lifecycle CO₂Near-zero with PPA/REC supplyNear-zero (renewable fuel cycle)Reduced vs oil; near-zero on green H₂

The hybrid that keeps winning: biomass baseload + electric peaks

Biomass carries the continuous load at the lowest ₹/MMBtu; an electrode unit catches demand spikes, covers grate maintenance windows and soaks up cheap solar hours into thermal storage. ClearOS arbitrates between them every few minutes — you just see one steam header and one per-ton invoice.

Where it fits first

Built for the loads combustion can't serve.

Pharma & life sciences

Combustion-free plant rooms feeding pure-steam generators — cGMP-friendly, with 99.5% SLA and full audit trails for MHRA / US FDA / EMA inspections.

Urban & constrained sites

Hospitals, hotels, food parks and factories where stack permissions, fuel storage or air-quality norms rule out new combustion capacity.

Food & beverage

Hygienic steam with instant response for retorts, pasteurisers and CIP — no combustion by-products anywhere near the process.

Net-zero-committed groups

Multinationals with SBTi or RE100-style commitments that need Scope 1 eliminated — not offset — at their Indian and European sites.

Common questions

Electric boilers, answered.

Per MMBtu, grid-peak electricity is costlier than biomass. But with open-access solar/wind PPAs, thermal storage and ClearOS shifting load into cheap renewable hours, our delivered electric tariffs land between gas and biomass — and for clean-steam, urban or sharp-batch duties, electric is frequently the lowest total cost once footprint, compliance, maintenance and fuel logistics are counted. We model it transparently for your site before quoting.
Three layers: wind PPAs generate on a different profile to solar; steam accumulators and hot-water buffers store cheap renewable energy as heat; and the grid (on a green tariff, with REC coverage) backstops everything. Steam availability is contractual — the same 98–99.5% SLA as the rest of our fleet, regardless of weather.
Often, yes — a 10 TPH electrode boiler draws roughly 7 MW. That's part of our scope: we assess your connection, handle sanctioned-load enhancement or a dedicated HV feeder, and include switchgear and protection in the asset we build, own and operate. It's inside the tariff, not a surprise CAPEX line.
Yes — hybrid is our most common electric deployment. The electric unit ties into your existing steam header; ClearOS dispatches whichever source is cheapest and cleanest at that moment and the blend shows up as a single per-ton tariff.
Identical structure: we finance, build, own and operate the boiler, electrical works, storage and the renewable supply contracts. You sign a 7–20 year take-or-pay tariff per ton of steam (or MMBtu of hot water), with uptime SLAs and penalties on us.
